  1. Really pleased with first chimney - beyond the fact that it came off second best in an altercation with a bridge!

Sufficiently pleased that I am coming back for a second one.

Particularly like the idea that you can have a decent height of a chimney for a good draw when you are moored, and reduce it to a normal height for cruising.

The only improvement needed is a bridge height detector!! (Went through bridge with no problem - winded, but failed to notice that the chimney had been in the middle of the bridge on the way up, and was at the edge - with less clearance - on the way back) I can hardly blame Kym's chimney for my stupidity.

  2. We collected our new chimney on Saturday, fitted it and lit the stove for the first time this Autumn. We had not had a fire since Spring, when the old cheap chimney rusted away and blew off into the cut! What a difference, no more rusty water staining the roof, a fantastic draw to the flames. and it even looks good! Kym and Tracey, many thanks for this fine bit of essential boating kit.

  5. We're really pleased with the chimney we ordered. We sent our collar measurements and after a couple of weeks... hey presto, we picked up our new chimney. It fit like a glove! How heart warming to find someone who can turn out such a well engineered product on the cut. We highly recommend them to anyone in search of a top quality chimney.

  6. I had heard a lot about the Little Chimney Company, so decided I would go and have a look for myself. I wish now I had gone to see them earlier and not bought numerous chandlery chimneys. These are by far the BEST CHIMNEY YOU CAN BUY. Quality workmanship, lovely friendly people, who are proper boaters and know just what a chimney should be. Many thanks for the SUPERB CHIMNEY.

  8. Excellent chimney of the best quality. So good in fact that we now want one for our rear stove too and will be heading your way again soon to have you fit one for us.

  10. At last- they do still exist!
A highly skilled craftsman, working in stainless steel of good heavy quality.
If like me you've spent pounds several times over, replacing one crappy chimney and coolie hat after another, don't waste any more time and money going to overpriced chandlers stores and getting more of the same rubbish.
    .
I live aboard and so my Morso gets well used and I was replacing the chimney/cap every two years or so. I was advised by a fellow boater to go stainless, as his still looks new after four years.

I travelled 120 miles to Tamworth to collect mine from Kym (the man who makes them) and his lovely wife Tracy who brews a mean cuppa! - what a super friendly couple they are.

Kyms metal working, carried out from his workshop butty Molly, is first rate engineering on a small but steadily growing scale. The bright, finish, functional but aesthetic design, coupled with the obvious attention to detail of his work, is of the standard of stuff that once made the innovative artifacts of Industrial Britain, the envy of the world.

I heartily reccomend anyone considering replacing a chimney to dig just that little deeper now and invest in what nothing less than a modern-day marvel of a product ,made in Britain by a British boater - for British boaters. As my old granny used to say 'PAY CHEAP - PAY TWICE' ( or in the case of the paper-thin tinny lookylikey stacks we know and hate, pay over and over again)

Thanks Kym and Tracy - oh yes and Granny me old Luv - you were dead right.
